Client Care & Practice Management Seminar

Date:26th May 2010 @ 9.30am
Duration: Attendance provides 3 hours CCPM CPD

This seminar is designed for :

Solicitor, partners and senior support staff who deal with potential and existing clients.

Gone are the days when law firms could rely on clients returning to their practices year after year through the generations. Loyalty to firms is becoming more fleeting and is increasingly likely to fade as times goes on. Non-traditional competitors are likely to use all their persuasive powers to encourage their customers to use them for legal services rather than to return to their existing law firm. The gloves are off in the pursuit and retention of clients.

Law firm staff with ethical selling-savvy skills, combined with their professionalism, will encourage potential clients to chose their firm and buy additional services. Selling skills can be learned and, used well, they will make a marked improvement on the number of clients choosing your firm.

By the end of this seminar, you will be able to:

  • Recognise the sales techniques used by successful businesses
  • Distinguish between commercial and private client selling approaches
  • List pre- and post-purchase buying behaviour
  • Allow for the influence of others in consumer buying activity
  • Break down the process of selling into identified steps
  • Distinguish between features and benefits of key services
  • Use ideas to gain a first meeting with a commercial client
  • Build trust from rapport and know when to be silent
  • Decide which of six methods to use to gain the instructions
Registration is from 930am to 10am.
Seminar begins at 10am and ends at 1pm
